Registration for FREE Preschool Programs

Giving Van Buren Children a Great Start - Head Start!

Registration is beginning for next school year for free preschool slots. Classrooms are located throughout the county and funded by Michigan's Great Start Readiness Programs (GSRP) and Head Start.

Children must be born between 9/2/2013 and 9/1/2014 (GSRP) or 9/2/2013 and 9/1/2015 (Head Start). Additional requirements apply, but we encourage all families with age-eligible children to fill out the simple early childhood education Intake Form to determine eligibility*.

Questions?
Contact VBISD Early Care & Education at (269) 539-5214
Please note we will not be able to determine your eligibility until your registration and enrollment documents have been submitted and received.

*GSRP and Head Start determine eligibility on income and additional factors. Completion of the registration form does not guarantee enrollment. Additional forms and documentation will be needed for complete enrollment. A small number of eligible families may pay tuition.

To apply for the 2018-2019 school year, begin with completing an online Interest Form or by going to www.vanburencountypreschools.org.
